The Lexus LF-A...

... should have been named the Lexus WTF. Ok maybe not. The LF-A has a very nice profile but the front end is a bit of a mess with its melted headlights and odd bumper creases.

Catch a glance standing in front of the LF-A and you'll understand why it's a mess. There is no coherence here. Weird headlights flanked by creases going to the A-pillar, side intakes that don't really fit with anything and the way the fenders end next to the headlights just looks odd.

The rear end is a mixed bag. The triple exhaust and diffuser look good but everything is ruined by those huge vertical vents. Horizontal vents would have accentuated the car's width without making it look big.

There has been a lot on controversy with this car. Did Lexus really need a 375 000$ supercar? Lexus answered with what's pretty much a publicity stunt. It's hard to deny what's under the skin of this supercar. It's a technological marvel with a body made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) powered by a 10 cylinder engine pumping out 552hp. It's a fast, mean and lean machine. But it has a butterface...
